Frequently Asked Questions

You don’t need to read everything here.  You can simply notice what stands out or answers what you’re wondering.

Do I need to feel ready before starting?
No. You don’t need to feel ready, motivated, or resourced.  You can begin gently, in ways that match your capacity.

What is Embody: Your Resilient Life?

Embody: Your Resilient Life is a self-paced, nervous-system-informed course that helps you understand your physiology, patterns of stress and safety, and how your nervous system responds to everyday life.

Who is this course for?

This course is for people who want to understand themselves more deeply through a nervous-system-informed lens and build steadier, more supportive ways of meeting stress, emotion, and everyday challenges.

It is well suited for those experiencing chronic stress or overwhelm, seeking balance and presence, and preferring a gentle, non-pressuring approach to personal growth.

When might this course not be the right fit?

Embody may not be the right fit if you are looking for a quick fix, rigid program, or guaranteed outcomes. It is also not a substitute for crisis or intensive therapeutic care.

Do I need a lot of time or a clear schedule to take this course?

No. Embody is designed to support you while you are living your life, not when everything clears up.

The course is built around small, manageable pieces that can be engaged with flexibly. You have two years of access and can move at your own pace, skip around, pause, and return as needed.

Is the course self-paced?

Yes. There are no deadlines or required timelines. You can engage in ways that fit your capacity and rhythm.

What if I feel overwhelmed, burned out, or low on energy right now?

You do not need to feel ready or resourced to begin. You may start with practices, engage lightly, or return to educational content later.

Even brief contact with the material can be meaningful. You can begin in very small ways, or simply start by reading and noticing.

What if a practice doesn’t feel supportive for me?

Listening to and trusting your own experience is not only encouraged; it is an essential part of how Embody works.

Practices can be adapted or paused. Pushing or overriding signals often reinforces stress patterns rather than supporting regulation.

Is this course trauma-informed and nervous-system-aware?

Yes. The course emphasizes pacing, choice, and respect for capacity. It avoids approaches that rely on forcing or reactivation.

Is this course therapy or a replacement for counselling?

No. Embody is educational and experiential and does not replace therapy or clinical care.

Can I take this course alongside counselling or other support?

Yes. Embody provides foundational nervous system support that can help other forms of care land more effectively.

Is this course appropriate for therapists, coaches, or helping professionals?

Yes. Many professionals take Embody for personal support and integrate concepts and practices into their work within scope.

How is the course structured and what formats are included?

The course includes short educational videos, guided audio practices, and written reflection PDFs.

How long do I have access to the course?

You have access for two years from purchase, with an option to renew.

Who do I contact if I have questions or need support?

Contact information for course or technical support is available within the course platform.

What kind of changes might I notice over time?

Embody supports gradual, cumulative change rather than quick fixes. Progress often shows up as increased awareness, steadiness, and capacity over time.
